A Transatlantic Friendship: How Miracles Bring Us Together
In a world of infinite possibilities, it’s truly miraculous when a simple decision leads to connections that transform your life. That’s exactly what happened when I joined Marci Shimoff’s Your Year of Miracles Inner Circle program in 2019. A few months later Marci welcomed me into becoming Happy For No Reason What started as a commitment to my own growth blossomed into something even more extraordinary—lifelong friendships that were meant to be.
For the past three years, I’ve met bi-weekly with two incredible women, Debbie from Scotland and Jeannie from England. What began as part of the Inner Circle Miracles Group—a space for supporting one another’s journey—has grown into a bond that transcends borders, time zones, and any expectation I could have imagined. We didn’t just become friends; we became family.
This past May, I traveled to Scotland and England to visit both Debbie and Jeannie in their homes. I walked their local streets, laughed over meals, and shared deep conversations that reinforced the depth of our connection. And in the season of love and new year beginnings, I had the immense joy of hosting Jeannie here in the U.S. The visit was a natural continuation of the miraculous connection we’ve nurtured over the years.
This experience proves to me that miracles come in many forms. They show up as growth, healing, and opportunities—but sometimes, they come as the people who step into your life at just the right moment. Your Year of Miracles (YOM) Inner Circle program created the space for this connection to happen - Miracle Groups. I joined YOM for personal transformation experiences, I gained something even greater: a community that uplifts, inspires, and sustains me.
